What we collect on this site

When you join the early access list, we collect your email address. That's it. It's stored with our email service provider (MailerLite) and our hosting provider's form service (Netlify) so we can contact you about Creative Vault OS early access and product updates.

What we don't do

We don't sell your email address. We don't share it with third parties for their marketing. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing works immediately.

Your creative work in the app

The Creative Vault OS app stores your songs, voice memos, photos, versions, and development logs locally on your own device, in your browser's storage. Your creative work is not uploaded to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes it, which is why the app includes a "Back up vault" button — use it, and keep the backup file somewhere safe.

If you use the app's assistant feature, the text of the song you have open and your messages are sent to our AI processing service to generate a response. Assistant conversations are not used to build a profile of you.

Removal

Want your email removed from the list entirely? Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us and we'll delete it.

Terms of Use

What this is

Creative Vault OS is a creative workspace for songwriters, currently in early access. It's provided as-is while we build it in the open with early users.

Your work is yours

Everything you create in Creative Vault OS belongs to you. We claim no rights to your songs, lyrics, recordings, or any other creative material you put into the app.

The development history is a record, not a legal service

Version history and development logs are creative record tools. They do not constitute copyright registration, legal proof of authorship, or legal advice, and they don't replace registering your work with the U.S. Copyright Office or consulting an attorney.

Backups are your responsibility

Because your work is stored on your own device, keeping backups is on you. The app makes this a one-button job — use it regularly.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to do anything unlawful, and don't attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse the assistant service.

Changes

As the product develops, these terms may change. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
